STATION 1:
A common language connects - this also applies to machines. The easier these exchange information, the more efficiently they work. umati is a universal interface that makes machine tools and systems safe, seamless and can be easily integrated into customer and user-specific IT ecosystems.

STATION 2:
The complexity in metalworking is increasing, and with it the demands on machine technology. Quality, productivity and efficiency can only be achieved with high-performance systems and processes. An important element in this is process integration, i.e. the finishing of components in as little as possible one clamping. Five-axis machining, mill-turn or mill-turn centers, "in-line" measurement technology or additive manufacturing increasingly characterize manufacturing, and machine manufacturers are increasingly becoming complete suppliers "from a single source".
STATION 3:
Increased expectations, such as those regarding energy and resource efficiency in the manufacture and operation of products, mean that the demands on product and component quality are also increasing. Consistent quality assurance and monitoring plays a decisive role here, not only with regard to tighter tolerances or better surfaces, but for the entire planning of production processes. Measurement technology is increasingly being moved from the measuring room to the production line, and the increasing monitoring of production equipment by sensors and data acquisition and use in the sense of "Industry 4.0" enables new approaches to prevent errors and waste.
STATION 4:
The implementation of digital functions and business models affects all areas of the company. In particular, these topics related to Industry 4.0 come into play in production and must be implemented in vocational training.
